Job Description

Overview:

The Area Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for the FMCG company in Bengaluru. This role involves overseeing sales operations in the assigned area building and maintaining strong client relationships and developing effective sales strategies to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand customer base
  • Manage and lead the sales team to drive performance and meet sales goals
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and market trends
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Track and analyze sales data to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance product visibility and market presence
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities performance and market trends
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay updated on industry trends competitors and market conditions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the FMCG industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a sales team effectively
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of market analysis and sales strategies
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and targetdriven environment
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required
  • Customerfocused mindset and dedication to providing exceptional service
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to sales and marketing
