Regional Field Service Technician

In this role youll be responsible for:

• Diagnosing electrical issues: Utilize your expertise to identify and troubleshoot problems in power generation control systems and various electrical equipment at customer sites (paper mills power plants water treatment facilities).
  
• Putting your skills to the test: Employ a range of specialized tools like voltmeters ammeters and advanced motor circuit testers to pinpoint electrical faults.
  
• Thinking on your feet: Analyze electrical loads and plan work effectively referencing blueprints sketches and wiring diagrams.
  
• Handson problem solving: Install repair and test a wide variety of electrical systems equipment and emergency generators.
  
• Keeping the power on: Conduct infrared scans of customer power and control systems to identify potential issues before they become critical.
  
• Motor and Generator Expertise: Demonstrate your knowledge by troubleshooting maintaining and repairing various AC/DC motors generators and associated controls in field environments.

• Has an edge: Experience with thermography inspections and the ability to lift and carry equipment are a plus.
