Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the schools curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Prepare and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students in grades K5 covering basic language skills vocabulary grammar and cultural aspects.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Conduct interactive activities and use multimedia resources to enhance students understanding of the Spanish language and culture.
• Assess and evaluate student performance providing timely feedback and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Spanish Education or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate in Spanish.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the elementary level is preferred.
