Afterschool and/or Flex Teacher needed (parttime)

The Schoolhouse Learning Center in South Burlington seeks a parttime Afterschool & Flex Teacher for preschool8th grade students in our nature and playbased program. Candidates should enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors in all weather exploring and teaching children about the natural world as well as supporting a socialjustice focused curriculum. This is a wonderful position for a college student retiree or anyone exploring an interest in teaching/education. Job Qualifications:

• Some experience working with young children is preferred; we will train the right candidate.
• High School diploma required.
• Teachers must attend 15 hours of professional development training in early childhood education each year and obtain certification in First Aid/CPR.
