IMPORTANT: You must have MSP experience (supporting external end users) to be considered for this role.
SHIFT: 6AM to 3PM Philippine time Monday to Friday Requires ON Call Weekends 4AM to 2PM Philippine time

Leading on from substantial yearonyear growth we are searching to fill several new positions within our UK team. One of these positions is for an experienced Cloud and Systems Engineer (Level 1) to join our team.
Successful candidates will work within a team of highly driven experts providing client side support cloud architecture project management and consulting services.
Focusing on our healthcare clients the role will be remotebased dealing with clients across the UK & Australia.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Contribute to the vision and solutions to add greater depth value to the business.
  • Working as part of a passionate team delivering the best service to our clients
  • Point of escalation and assistance for front line support team members
  • Answering calls and emails from clients and providing guidance to team members.
  • Ensure all support members are logging all issues raised and providing end users updates on their support issues.
  • Ensure all process are followed and adhered among the support team members
  • Maintain IT team documentation in coordination with changes.
  • Building strong client relationships with your customer service skills and professionalism
  • Advance understanding about hardware related issues (Printers Scanners PC s Laptops)
  • Have analytical thinking and highly process driven
  • Excellent Telephony support skills
  • Cloud platform backup check & maintenance
  • Ticketing system queue management
  • Phone system support
  • Liaising with senior team for getting assistance with tasks as required.


Requirements

Must have:
  • MSP work experience
  • Minimum 2 years IT Support experience.
  • Experience in first line support AD VMware Microsoft
  • Experience of Active Directory managing users and computers
  • Experience of Microsoft Windows operating system MS Office suite and MS 365 services
  • Experience supporting users operating within a corporate network
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with staff at all levels of the business
  • Be passionate about technology trends and new technologies.
  • Possess a can do/die hard attitude making sure things get completed to a high standard and never giving in!
  • Have a form of IT Qualification
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Be able to multitask.
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Customer service experience

Eventually progressing onto after successful placement:
  • Cloud/Physical server builds
  • Cloud/Physical firewall builds
  • Client cloud migrations
  • Network Troubleshooting
  • Solution design
  • Linux Opensource builds/Maintenance


Benefits

1. Monthly Salary: Php 45000
2. Salary will be paid on a bimonthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month
3. You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays
4. Probation: 6 months and after Probation

  • 10 days annual leave credits

Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network and/or cybersecurity administration. Back-end development experience is highly desirable Proven experience in DNS management and configuration. Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework). Working knowledge of common security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners). Experience with web hosting administration and various hosting platforms (e.g., shared hosting, cloud hosting). Familiarity with server administration tasks, including operating systems like Linux and Windows Server. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
