Job Description
Our client; a 21st century Law firm dedicated to providing bespoke and cuttingedge legal services in Nigeria currently have an opening for a Senior legal counsel commercial practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and modify the contract.
- Represent clients in court.
- Compromise on behalf of the client.
- Examine and monitor commercial mergers.
- Assist clients through the legal procedure.
- Advise customers on legal ramifications and the legal process.
- Write Commercial report and edit
- Assist client and legal counsel while dealing with commercial transactions.
- Look for any gaps in company documentation and employee agreements.
- Investigate the legal implications of innovative products and services.
- Negotiate deals on behalf of the company.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and advise management on regulatory and compliance issues.
Requirements:
Candidate should have a significant knowledge of Commercial Law practice Including But Not Limited To
- Company Law
- Corporate governance and compliance practice
- Legal review and drafting
- General contract law
- Company Secretarial
- Corporate Restructuring generally
- Property Acquisition
- Commercial Real Estate Development
- Employment law and practice
- Mergers and Acquisitions practice
- Business sale and arrangement.
- Strategic Alliance and Joint Venture
- Real Estate law and practice
- Taxation law
