QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer you will own the QA process supporting the ongoing development of new and existing Liftango products globally. You will work closely with our engineering and support teams to drive the optimization and automation of QA testing focusing on best practices. Your role is crucial in ensuring we release product requests new features backend integrations and fixes to internal stakeholders and external customers in a timely and meaningful manner.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement QA scripts and automations for new and existing features

Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases

Perform regression testing to prevent bugs and misconfigurations from being released to customers

Help in coordinating our QA and releases through our release management pipeline

Identify improvements to practices and processes to continuously improve our release and testing processes

Work closely with internal teams (engineering support and tech leadership) to identify approaches for testing and managing releases

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.

Requirements

Requirements

Relevant university degree or equivalent certification in QA.

3 years of professional experience in quality assurance for software and app development

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.

Handson experience with both white box and black box testing.

Experience with automated testing tools and scripting.

Solid knowledge of SQL AWS and scripting languages.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into laymans terms.

Attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills.

Knowledge/experience of any of the following well regarded

Atlassian Suite

Git

Scripting

JavaScript/NodeJS

React

Containerisation (Docker)

Monitoring and alerting platforms

Awareness of agile principles

Application/service/product deployment

Setup and Location: WFH/Remote

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
