Environmental Technology Advisor Full Time Competitive Salary Benefits Permanent Position


Area: Netherlands

HQ: Son

Industry: Geotechnical and Environmental Consulting

Hire: Permanent Position

Salary: Competitive based on experience

Report: Environmental Division Manager

Hours: 40 per week

Travel: Limited primarily within the Netherlands


As an Environmental Technology Advisor you will be responsible for conducting and managing environmental soil investigations ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining highquality standards.


Duties:

Offer preparation coordination reporting and followup for environmental soil investigations ranging from simple to complex.

Maintain communication with clients regulatory authorities sampling teams laboratories and other departments.

Ensure high advisory quality planning and budgeting.

Requirements

Skills:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.

25 years of relevant experience.

Cando mentality and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Experience in handling diverse projects and working with various stakeholders.



Experience: The ideal candidate will have the following experience: IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management. 3-10 years of experience in the field. Excellent understanding of the gas and oil industry (preferred). Qualification/Experience with CDM 2015 Regulations. Experience in a complex, commercial, multi-divisional organization. Solid and up-to-date knowledge of practical environmental principles and legislation. Experience with ISO 14001 audits. In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance. Detailed understanding of Environmental Management systems. Solid understanding of construction and project-related safety aspects. Ability to deal with people at all levels. Skills & Personal Qualities: The successful candidate should hold a full UK driving license and demonstrate the following: Understanding of core environmental principles and regulations. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to measure performance against internal and external benchmarks, identifying new solutions to business requirements. Decisive in difficult business situations, maintaining focus on business requirements and client satisfaction. Readiness to make decisions, take initiative, and produce successful action plans. Adaptability to changing demands and conditions. Commitment to developing others. Willingness and ability to work collaboratively. Strong IT skills. Research and auditing knowledge. Passion for the environment and sustainability.
