Job Summary:

As a Senior Accountant your primary responsibility will be managing a team of junior accountants. This includes delegating tasks reviewing their work and providing guidance and assistance as needed. Additionally you will handle all production accounting activities. Your duties will include:

• Preparation of US tax returns for individuals partnerships and corporations (e.g. 1040s 1120s 1065s etc.).
• Conducting monthend and yearend book closings and cleanup.
• Experience with NY and NJ state tax filings is advantageous.
• Ability to train a local team.
• Attendance at monthly company and taxation training sessions.
• Experience with SurePrep is a plus.
