Tasks

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design and transfer into manufacturing a digital connectivity device for injection pens.

The role will be responsible for all mechanical components of the device comprised of the mechanical pen interface housing user interface and internal parts.

You need to design internal prototypes validate the design and then work together with a manufacturing partner to transfer all components into production. This role is integral to ensuring our project meet the highest standards of quality efficiency and compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of the project involving external partners from inception to delivery.
• Work directly with clients to identify their needs and ensure solutions align with their expectations and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with external manufacturing supply chain and packaging partners to align their contributions with project goals.
• Manage a variety of interfaces both technical and personal to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a strong handson approach to balance project management with active participation in project tasks.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during project execution turning undefined situations into defined solutions.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
• Drive the projects progress ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering particularly plastics and injection molding in coordinating with external partners.
• Proven ability to work in uncharted territory demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Exceptional problemsolving skills and the ability to define clear solutions from ambiguous situations.
• A collaborative mindset thriving in a teamoriented environment
• Proven track record in providing manufacturing support for hightech products.
• Ability to balance handson project execution with highlevel project management.
• Masters degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably within the medical device or consumer good industry.
• Strong organizational skills for managing timelines resources and budgets effectively.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities technologies and market
  dynamics in the fastpaced environment of a healthcare startup.
• Desire to sweat the small stuff.
• Working Place for the first 3 month will be Zrich.
