Job Description

THE ROLE

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations ensuring efficient processes and driving productivity across the organization. This role requires strategic planning and a handson approach to manage and streamline operations fostering a productive and positive work environment. Additionally the Operations Manager will be directly responsible for all commercial aspects of the business including budgets sales Key Account Management Business Development and Merchandising. See Org. Chart in APPENDIX 1 ORGANISATIONAL CHART.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Operational Management: Develop and implement strategies policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the operations team including recruitment training and performance management. Directly oversee the Ecom Manager Key Account Manager (KAM) / Merch Manager Marketing Manager and Merch & Sales Support Executive.
  3. Commercial Management: Develop and manage budgets drive sales strategies and oversee Key Account Management Business Development and Merchandising activities.
  4. Project Management: Manage key operational projects ensuring timely and withinbudget completion.
  5. Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation and oversee inventory management procurement and
    logistics.
  6. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies industry regulations and quality standards.
    Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational
    efficiency.
  8. CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and the marketing team to ensure cohesive
    operational and commercial strategies.
  9. Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key accounts distributors and retailers to optimize
    brand presence and sales.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within operations preferably in the watch or luxury goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes resource management project management and commercial management.
  • Exceptional leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with operations management software and tools.
