Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced senior engineer to join our company. This exciting new role will be part of a team of designers engineers and project managers.
As a candidate for this role you have experience working at a senior level and a background in web technologies including frontend backend software engineering and security.
You are an effective communicator who can support and mentor others a pragmatic programmer who can manage conflicting priorities and a confident decisionmaker who is comfortable taking responsibility.
Requirements
Essential:
- 5 years of experience in webfocused software engineering with experience in planning and estimating work technical decisionmaking and implementing significant features autonomously.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies including:
- Agile development (e.g. Scrum/Kanban)
- Software testing
- Continuous integration
- Great communication skills with experience working with:
- Project managers and team members Business stakeholders and clients Mentoring junior engineers
- A fullstack attitude to web development with specific experience in:
- Backend web development experience using MVC or similar
- Frontend experience including Javascript frameworks and CSS
- Relational databases
- Deployment and system maintenance
- General programming skills equivalent to a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science:
- Core concepts including recursion higherorder functions async execution
- Algorithm design and performance analysis
- API design
- Automated testing
- Runtime debugging
- Source code management
- Scripting/automation
- Familiarity with system administration tools
Desirable not essential:
- Ruby on Rails experience
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards
Professional skills:

- Proactive and pragmatic in finding solutions
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work autonomously

Additional Job Details:
Setup and Location: Officebased (Ortigas Alabang Pampanga or Cebu)/Remote
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Fulltime
All interviews and other hiring requirements are done virtually or through video calls or emails.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Background in working in the MSP environment is huge advantage US or any Western region experience is a plus but not required Proven experience in network operations, network administration, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.). Previous experience working as a NOC Technician or in a similar IT support role, preferably in an overnight shift capacity. Proficiency in using ConnectWise Automate as remote monitoring system and/or ConnectWise Manage ticketing system is a huge advantage Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies. Experience with Windows server environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Microsoft Azure Certification is a huge advantage but not required.
