About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Controls Engineer to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll be a key player in developing worldclass automation systems for various industries. If youre passionate about custom automation and precision machining and have a knack for design and leadership we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Prepare control systems designs and utilize AutoCAD to create drawings including power distribution PLC panel layouts pneumatics hydraulics and instrumentation.
• Write and document software for control systems.
• Review and manage budgets and schedules collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure ontime delivery.
• Coordinate with the Controls Assembly Department during build phases providing timely solutions to problems.
• Lead and mentor junior Controls Engineers facilitating their growth and development.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in engineering.
• 7 years experience in controls engineering related to custom automation.
• At least 3 years of design experience utilizing AutoCAD software.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley Siemens Square D) and HMI development (Allen Bradley Siemens).
• Experience with communication protocols (Ethernet/IP ControlNet Device Net Profibus).

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with robotics (Denso Epson FANUC Kuka Kawasaki).
• Familiarity with linear actuators servos vision systems and data acquisition tools.
• Programming skills in Python C Visual Basic and National Instruments Lab Windows.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
