About the Role:

We were on the hunt for a talented Software Engineer to join the hive on behalf of our client. In this role youll be crucial in a rebranding project focusing on transitioning Portals and File Transfer applications to align with the companys new brand identity. If you are passionate about software development and have a knack for .NET SQL and cloud technologies we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Design and develop robust software solutions with a focus on resiliency and stability.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications.
• Champion software engineering best practices and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Research to assess the impacts of the rebranding on applications and infrastructure.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Collaborate within an Agile development team and stay updated on industry trends.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 58 years of experience in .NET development including VB.Net and C#.Net Core 3.1 and above.
• Strong proficiency with SQL databases (MySQL SQL Server) and writing complex scripts.
• Experience with Angular framework MVC Entity Framework and API testing tools (Insomnia Postman SoapUI).
• Working knowledge of cloud fundamentals preferably AWS (EC2 Lambda).
• Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently take initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Positive and respectful team player attitude.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA.
• Experience with version control systems (GitHub) CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and Visual Studio.
