About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Associate to join corporate practice specializing in energy project development and finance. In this role youll leverage your expertise in US project development and finance particularly with distributed and utilityscale renewable energy projects. Youll handle principal financing documentation such as purchase agreements partnership agreements credit agreements and more while also managing key commercial project documentation. Boston and Washington DC are preferred office locations.

Your Mission:

• Manage US project development and finance for renewable energy projects.
• Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation.
• Handle key commercial project documentation including PPAs EPCs and interconnection agreements.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure regulatory compliance.

What You Bring:

• JD or LLM from an ABAaccredited law school.
• Admitted or eligible for admission in MA DC NY or CA.
• Minimum four years of project finance experience at a law firm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professionalism in client interactions and collaborative team settings.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting renewable energy.
• Background in negotiating complex commercial agreements.
