Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the erection commissioning and startup of SCR Projects particularly with copper and aluminum rod mills. This role requires international travel up to 50% and a strong background in project management site supervision and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and StartUp Supervision:
- Supervise the installation and startup of SCR systems ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
- Perform as a site engineer engineering coordinator and startup engineer for systems.
- Technical Development and Optimization:
- Develop new equipment and techniques including the selection and evaluation of hardware and software.
- Make suggestions on improving SCR equipment and processes.
- Customer Training and Support:
- Transfer operational knowhow to SCR customers through training sessions publications discussions and presentations.
- Address technical inquiries from existing and prospective SCR customers and new employees.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Produce daily progress reports during startups and field service visits.
- Write detailed trip reports following customer visits.
- Manage heavy project documentation and write procedures and manuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Electrical Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical or chemical engineering principles and process engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with industrial processing systems particularly SCR systems.
- Ability to communicate design information from various documents such as vendor and SCR drawings operating manuals and maintenance/operation manuals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is desirable or a willingness to learn.
- Strong project management skills including planning scheduling and budget management.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Effective presentation and training skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to address technical inquiries.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse tasks and changing project requirements.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
- Fluency in additional languages such as Hindi Chinese Arabic or Russian is desirable but not required.
