Controller

We are seeking a Controller with exceptional communication technology analytical and management skills. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of GAAP expertise in financial reporting and internal controls and proven ability to manage staff. Experience in a highgrowth CPG or directtoconsumer startup is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Plan direct and coordinate all accounting operations using NetSuite
  
• Gather consolidate and report on financial data and financial statements
  
• Implement internal controls and governance for financial processes including reporting
  
• Establish and maintain internal controls over financial processes and reporting
  
• Work with internal and external audit resources
  
• Hire and oversee accounting staff
  
• Focus on continuous improvement and change management
  
• Develop Accounting KPIs
  
• Train and mentor more junior staff
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 10 years of accounting/finance experience in a corporate setting and/or public accounting firm
  
• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance; CPA CMA or CGMA preferred
  
• Advanced computer software skills including NetSuite
  
• Exceptional people skills fostering an open and confidential environment
