Job Description

• 5 years experience as systems administrator with 2 years working in a 24x7 high availability enterprise hosting environment
• Expert skill on current and recent versions of Linux RHEL CentOS RHEL 89 Satellite 6
• Expert skill on RHEL 9 OS patch SELinux Podman containers LVM LV Snapshots NFS
• Expert skill on Sun Solaris 11 Zones ZFS LDOMs SMF
• Expert skill on Veritas InfoscaleVCS PCS
• Expert skill on current and recent versions of the VMware virtualization platform
• Expert skill on standard server hardware for x86 and x8664 architectures
• Export skill on creating maintaining and modifying scripts ksh bash sh
• Expert skill on SFTPRsync fileprint servers ILOM ALOM consoles
• Expert knowledge of monitoring Site24x7 and backup Dell Networker Data Domain and best practices
• Strong understanding of storage area network SAN disk systems IBM V7000
• Strong understanding of best practices for system security high availability and disaster recovery
• Conceptual understanding of core TCPIP v4 network concepts such as firewalls routing load balancing VPNs VLANs network segmentation and segregation ACLs etc
• Basic skill TCPIP network concepts such as DNS DHCP IP subnetting
• Basic skill on Active Directory and Group Policy
• Experience with an ITSM tool and an understanding of the ITIL framework for service incident change and problem management

• Flexibility to work independently and work in teams
