The Linux Administrator plays a role in managing and maintaining Linuxbased systems within an organization. They are responsible for ensuring t stability security and optimal performance of Linux servers and workstations. The Linux Administrator collaborates with the IT team to handle Linuxbased infrastructure troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to users. This role requires a strong understanding of Linux operatin systems networking and scripting languages.

1. Install configure and maintain Linux operating systems and related software.

2. Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability and reliability of Linuxbased infrastructure.

3. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement Linuxbased solutions that meet business needs.

4. Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

5. Automate system administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python through Ansible to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

6. Manage user accounts permissions and access controls to ensure proper system security and data integrity.

7. Install configure and maintain network services including DNS DHCP and LDAP.

8. Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to improve system performance and scalability

1. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems including Ubuntu CentOS or Red Hat.

2. Proficient in Linux commandline interface (CLI) and shell scripting.

3. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.

4. Familiarity with networking concepts protocols and services including TCP/IP DHCP DNS and VPN.

5. Knowledge of storage technologies such as RAID SAN and NAS.

6. Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems.

7. Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.

8. Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment collaborating with crossfunctional teams.

9. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
