Job Title: Talent Acquisition Assessment Specialist (Contingent)

Location: Remote; open to all of US to apply
Overview: Cummins is seeking an experienced Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology professional to join our Talent Acquisition team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing implementing and managing various aspects of our talent assessment and interview processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment Design and Validation:
Develop and refine talent assessment tools tailored to Cummins needs
Conduct validation studies to ensure assessments are predictive and legally defensible
Analyze assessment data to continuously improve selection processes
AI Monitoring Plans:
Design and implement monitoring plans for AIdriven talent acquisition tools
Evaluate AI algorithms for potential biases and fairness issues
Recommend adjustments to AI systems to enhance effectiveness and compliance
Interview Guide Design and Management:
Create structured interview guides aligned with job competencies
Train hiring managers and interviewers on effective use of interview guides
Regularly update and optimize interview processes based on data and feedback
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze assessment and interview data to identify trends and insights
Prepare reports on assessment effectiveness and hiring outcomes
Make datadriven recommendations for process improvements
Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure all assessment and interview processes comply with relevant laws and regulations
Stay current with I/O Psychology research and industry best practices
Advise on ethical considerations in talent assessment and selection
Qualifications:
Masters or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
5 years of experience in talent assessment design validation and implementation
Strong knowledge of psychometric principles and statistical analysis
Familiarity with AI applications in talent acquisition and associated ethical considerations
Excellent project management and communication skills
Experience with assessment platforms and data analysis tools
Preferred:
Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry
Knowledge of Cummins business and culture
Certification in specific assessment methodologies
Additional Details:
Must work EST hours; 8am5pm no overtime
5 years of experience
