Job Description
Roessel Joy has partnered with an electronic power distributors company in Boston, MA looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! The ideal candidate has their Bachelors Degree in Accounting, 3+ years of experience, and a CPA would be ideal. Responsibilities:
- GL Maintenance
- AP/AR working with auditors.
- Should be familiar with immigration laws, taxes, and have customer service energy.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections.
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
