You will be working on a project for a major Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products.

Role Overview:

As a Workday Presales and Solution Architect will play a critical role in thesales process of Workday solutions providing technical expertise and solutiondesign to potential clients.This role involves working closely with sales teams clients and technical teams toensure that Workday solutions meet the clients business needs and technical
requirements.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their business processes challenges and requirements.
  • Conduct detailed requirements analysis to identify how Workday solutions can address clients needs.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather detailed client requirements.
  • Design comprehensive Workday solutions that align with clients business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Develop highlevel and detailed architecture blueprints for Workday implementations.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable secure and adhere to best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Create and deliver product demonstrations showcasing the capabilities and benefits of Workday solutions.
  • Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) with detailed technical and functional responses.
  • Stay current with Workday product updates new features and industry trends.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Work closely with implementation consultants and project managers to ensure a seamless transition from presales to implementation.
  • Assist in the development of implementation plans including timelines resource allocation and risk management.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance during the implementation phase to ensure the solution meets the clients expectations.
  • Identify and design necessary customizations and integrations to meet specific client requirements.
  • Ensure that customizations and integrations are robust maintainable and aligned with Workday standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to oversee the development and testing of custom solutions.
  • Validate that the final solution aligns with the initial design and client expectations.
  • Conduct postimplementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and capture lessons learned.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the presales process.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships with key decisionmakers.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve Workday offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of competitor products and strategies.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for proposed solutions including architecture diagrams specifications and project plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions requirements and solutions proposed.
  • Generate regular reports on presales activities client feedback and market trends for internal stakeholders.
