About the Role:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit. This position involves working 12hour shifts three shifts per week with the flexibility to workday or night shifts. The role requires the ability to work as part of a team and handle a 1:4 patient ratio.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse will work in the Med/Surg unit providing comprehensive nursing care to a wide range of patients. This role requires flexibility in scheduling including day or night shifts from 6:45 AM 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM 7:15 AM and working every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Shift Flexibility: Ability to work 12hour shifts including day or night shifts and every other weekend.
• Patient Ratio: Manage a 1:4 patient ratio to deliver highquality care.

Must Have:

• RN License: Must have an active RN license.
• Education: Associate degree or higher in Nursing.
• Certification: American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support).

Technical & Professional Skills & Knowledge:

• Primary Skills: Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide individualized patient care.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with healthcare teams to achieve patient care goals.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:

• Skills Needed: Experience in Med/Surg nursing strong clinical skills effective communication and teamwork.
• Education: Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
