Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior IT Support to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in managing IT infrastructure providing technical support include office electrical needs and contributing to various IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide firstline support to employees experiencing technical issues via phone email or in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on time.

System Maintenance:

  • Assist in installing configuring and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.

    Network Management:

    • Assist in network setup configuration and maintenance including WiFi and LAN.
    • Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed.

    Employee Training:

    • Conduct introductory training sessions for employees on software applications and IT policies.
    • Assist in maintaining user manuals and documentation.

    IT Projects:

    • Participate in IT projects like system upgrades migrations and new technology implementations.
    • Collaborate with senior IT staff to support project planning and execution.


    Key Deliverables:

    Support Efficiency:

    • Achieve a target of resolving 90% of support tickets within 24 hours.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes system configurations and troubleshooting guides.

    Project Participation:

    • Contribute to at least one major IT project per quarter ensuring timely and successful completion of assigned tasks.


    Key Skills and Competencies:

    Technical Skills:

    • Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows and MacOS commands.
    • Software Applications: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and standard business applications.
    • Networking: Basic knowledge of network configurations system troubleshooting and software installations.
    • Solving problems with various appliances including printers scanners computers handheld devices and servers.
    • Perform office electrical wiring for network installations ensuring compliance with safety standards and best practices will be an advantage.


    Soft Skills:

    • Problemsolving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with nontechnical staff include various nationality.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to provide effective employee support.
    • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to collective goals.


    What Were Looking For:

    • Degree: Bachelors degree in information technology or a related field.
    • Certifications: While not mandatory CompTIA A Google IT Support or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 years of handson experience in IT infrastructure setup and technical support will be an advantage.
    • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
    • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and experience with wiring and cabling.
    • Ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholder to manage telephony system and CRMrelated issues autonomously.
