The Role of theHead of Technology Solutions and Project Delivery.

The Head of Project Delivery will be responsible for developing the right technology solutions for business function strategies and leading/managing the delivery of key technology projects. This role will oversee and have line management authority of an offfield business analyst to ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.

Main Accountabilities

• Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management to align project goals with the clubs strategic objectives and provide a strong project status reporting methodology and MI reports associated to technology projects.
• Project Management: Accountable for the planning implementation managing and tracking of specific shortterm and longterm projects from start to finish.
• Team Leadership: Directly manage an offfield business analyst and provide guidance objective setting and performance feedback to them.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.

• IT Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues within projects and develop contingency plans to address them.

• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of technology projects including any changes to timelines budgets or resources
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

• To build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally maintaining a professional image at all times when representing Brentford FC
• To keep confidential any information gained regarding the Club and its personnel

• To ensure compliance with all Matchday Safeguarding processes and the Clubs Safeguarding Policy and processes

• Bachelors degree in business Technology Sports Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management preferably within a sports organisation but not essential.
• Strong leadership skills with experience of managing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Experience in IT project governance structures and project delivery methodologies.

Key Internal Relationships

• Work closely with the Clubs senior management team heads of department project stakeholders and thirdparty vendors.

Person Specification Essential Characteristics

• Proven experience as a project manager in the information technology sector.
• Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Prince II and Agile methodologies with associated certifications a benefit.

Person Specification Desirable Characteristics

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Experience in the sports industry particularly football is desirable
• A working knowledge of the TOGAF framework and an understanding of how it improves business processes within a sporting organisation.
