Role: Systems Integration Specialist Advisor

Location: Plano TX (Fully Remote) Preferred EST & CST time zone candidates.

Job Summary:

The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning installation configuration operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware operating systems software systems and related procedures adhere to standards ensuring maximum productivity for IT staff and users.

Job Responsibilities:

Working within a team the Systems Administrator is responsible for server hardware operating systems storage (SAN & NAS) and supporting systems.

Troubleshoot internal and external applications hardware problems operating system issues storage issues (SAN / NAS) and work with new services on a daily basis.

Assist with the development and implementation of policies procedures and standards relating to server and storage management.

Implement automation monitoring and centralized logging.

Perform hardware and operating systems capacity planning for existing services providing recommendations to application owners and implementing solutions to allow for application and database expansion and performance.

Contribute to Linux standards discussions and documents (with respect to operating system hardware storage networking and security) and author appropriate documentation where necessary.

Work with database and application teams to gather requirements for new projects and expansion to existing applications.

Deploy and administer AWS EC2 IAM S3 CloudFront. Storage Gateway and SSM services

Provide functional or program leadership by acting as a team representative to multifunctional projects.

On call as needed (24/365).
