Manufacturing Electrical Engineer - PLC Automation Instrumentation

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Electrical Engineer with expertise in PLC programming automation systems and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment with PLC Instrumentation and Automation experience. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial control systems a proactive problemsolving attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Responsibilities:
Design develop and implement PLCbased control systems for manufacturing processes.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) such as AllenBradley Siemens or similar platforms.
Configure and integrate automation systems including HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP Profibus etc.).
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize manufacturing processes improve efficiency and ensure product quality.
Specify select and install instrumentation such as sensors actuators and transmitters.
Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
Provide technical support during commissioning startup and ongoing production phases.
Maintain documentation including electrical drawings schematics and technical manuals.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Will consider ASEE degree or experience in lieu of a degree.
210 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in roles involving PLC programming automation and instrumentation.
Proficiency in programming PLCs (AllenBradley Siemens etc.) and familiarity with industrial automation standards and protocols.
Experience with HMI development SCADA systems and industrial networking.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a handson approach to troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to electrical systems in manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with motion control systems (servo drives motors) and robotics.
Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and IoT (Internet of Things) applications in manufacturing.
Project management skills and experience leading small to mediumsized projects.
