Job Description

CUSTOMER/PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Permanent)
Our client a local Health Services/Pharmacy provider whose headquarters is in WNY is looking to hire a Customer/Patient Service Representative to join their growing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle high levels of inbound and outbound calls to assist with the fulfillment of patients prescriptions
  • Receive inbound phone calls regarding new and refill prescriptions
  • Make outbound calls to resolve any insurance issues verifying claims when necessary
  • Reach out to Doctors offices to verify prescriptions
  • Assist clients when a delivery is incomplete or incorrect
  • Act as the liaison between internal teams and customers
  • Update and maintain SuiteRX computer system ensuring accuracy of patients information updating all records and case activity/communications as needed
  • Follow up with patients to gather and confirm information should there be any discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards is maintained at all times
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at all times ensuring positive and seamless experiences
  • Work well in a team setting as well as independently
  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary


Details:

  • Position is full time direct hire 37.5 40 hours/week with overtime available for those employees who want it
  • 100% inoffice
  • 1 role part time: 8:00am1:00pm MF
  • 1 role full time: 8:00am4:00pm MF
  • 2 roles full time: 2:00pm10:00pm MF
    • Will train on 1st shift; once moved to 2nd shift will have $1.00 shift differential
  • Full time roles will work every 4th Saturday 10:00am3:00pm
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • $17.00 $20.00 / hour depending on experience
  • 1 year experience in a telephonebased customer service role
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated
  • Relocation not available
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available
