Position: Electronics Assembler I Shift 1
Location: Oakdale MN 55128
Duration: 5 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: (MonThur) (05:30 am 04:00 pm)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble components to produce client products according to written specifications.
- Perform visual or other inspection of components to ensure product quality.
- Participate in teams to continuously improve production processes or product quality.
- Perform manufacturing operations proficiently.
- Train and rotate between functions as assigned.
- Assemble components to produce client finished products according to written specifications or prints.
- Perform visual or other inspection of components subassemblies and end product to ensure quality in accordance with written specifications prints and ISO9001 and FDA requirements.
- Participate in teams to continuously improve production processes and product quality.
- Perform operations such as prepping soldering testing milling DCP MSCP preparing housing packaging and transporting components and piece parts as required by specific production line procedures.
- Meet established production standards.
- Sort and remove defective parts or products.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Perform tasks outside meetings as assigned.
- This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws regulations and standards good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
- Engage others promote and participate in Environmental Health and Safety initiatives focusing on continuous improvement.
- Deadlines include daily production schedules and line standards.
- Work direction is given on a taskbytask basis.
- Direction is given through written standard operating procedures or verbal instructions from supervisor or line coordinator.
- Direct supervision is minimal.
- Work is routine and must be performed according to established engineering specifications and in accordance with FDA and ISO 9001 requirements.
Impact and scope:
- Possible errors are usually detected in subsequent steps and results in minor confusion and rework.
- Will interact with most levels of employees in operations and other departments.
Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Work with small parts
- Read write and comprehend English
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Attention to detail
- Assembly Experience/ElectroMechanical Experience
- Experience with tools/power tools
- ESD Knowledge
Nice to Have:
- Soldering
- Read Off Computer
- Organized
- Ability to cross train/learn more than one process
- ElectroMechanical aptitude
- Interested in/Passion for helping others (Team Player)
- Lot Traceability Knowledge
