SFCC Backend Devops

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend functionalities in Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
• Implement and maintain DevOps processes for automated build release and deployment.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements for backend development.
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code for backend processes and functionalities.
• Perform testing debugging and troubleshooting of backend services and applications.
• Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure using DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to optimize operations.
• Provide technical support and resolution for backendrelated issues.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards best practices and security guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
• Document backend processes configurations and troubleshooting guides.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends related to backend development and DevOps.
• Collaborate with the frontend and fullstack development teams to integrate and optimize overall platform performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.
• Participate in oncall rotation for production support and incident management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum X years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud backend development.
• Proven expertise in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins Docker Kubernetes etc.
• Proficiency in Javascript Node.js and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in crossfunctional teams.
• Indepth understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure management and configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Certifications in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and DevOps platforms would be a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
• Experience in performance tuning optimization and scalability of backend systems.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail for reliable backend solutions.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs effectively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in backend and DevOps domains.

• Expertise in Demandware/Salesforce Commerce Cloud development.
• Deep understanding of Node.js and its ecosystem.
• Solid experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g. Jenkins Docker Kubernetes).
