Job Description

Job Title: Telecaller

Job Summary: As a Telecaller you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers with the objective of generating sales leads setting appointments or providing information about products or services. This role requires excellent communication skills a customerfocused approach and the ability to effectively engage with individuals over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound Calling:
    • Place outbound calls to prospective customers using a provided list or database.
    • Introduce products or services to potential customers and explain their benefits and features.
    • Engage prospects in conversation to identify their needs and interests.
  2. Lead Generation:
    • Identify and qualify potential leads based on predetermined criteria.
    • Gather relevant information about leads including contact details preferences and purchasing intentions.
    • Record lead information accurately in the CRM system or lead management software.
  3. Appointment Setting:
    • Schedule appointments or meetings for sales representatives with qualified leads.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely followup and confirmation of appointments.
    • Provide prospects with necessary information and directions for scheduled appointments.
  4. Customer Engagement:
    • Respond to inbound calls from customers seeking information or assistance.
    • Address customer inquiries resolve complaints and provide appropriate solutions or guidance.
    • Maintain a polite and professional demeanor in all interactions with customers.
  5. Data Management:
    • Keep accurate records of calls made outcomes achieved and followup actions required.
    • Update customer information and interaction details in the CRM system or database.
    • Generate reports on call activities lead status and conversion rates as required.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or sales is a plus.
  • Proven experience in telemarketing outbound calling or customer service roles.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and pleasant telephone manner.
  • Strong persuasive skills and ability to engage with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software or similar tools for call management and data entry.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and lead qualification processes is desirable.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
