Job Description
Purpose of the role
The Embedded Lead will be responsible for designing the printed circuit boards (PCBs) for all motors and robots. This includes building motor actuators designing PCBs and developing firmware to control the motors. The role requires a deep understanding of BLDC motors motor tuning control systems and embedded firmware.
Technical Skills Required
Expertise in BLDC motors motor tuning and control systems
Proficient with motor drivers FOC Control CANbus UART RS485
Strong knowledge of PCB design and embedded firmware development from scratch
Understanding of encoder systems and integration
Behavioural Skills Required
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Detailoriented and highly organized
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Job Responsibilities
1 Start to finish ownership of control board electronics from specification to design prototype and manufacturing.
2 Design and develop motor drivers for various robots perform motor tuning integrate actuators and calibrate encoders.
3 Design and implement PCB layouts and routing of electronics providing maximum circuit density minimizing electromagnetic emissions and maximizing immunity ensuring efficient system architecture
4 Consult and negotiate with vendors to ensure the manufacturability of designs
5 Work with crossfunctional teams to ensure system integration and performance and on time delivery.
6 Developing embedded firmware for motor controls
7 Delegation of tasks and manage the activities of reportees.
Minimum Qualification B. Tech in Electrical Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering (60% Above throughout academics)
Years of experience 4 to 8 years of experience in relevant fields
