Job Title: Insurance Desk Expert

Job Summary:
As an Insurance Desk Expert you will be responsible for interacting with hospital insurance patients collecting necessary documents educating patients about insurance deductions creating awareness about reimbursement claims (Pre & Post Hospitalization) and handling grievances or issues raised by hospital staff and patients. You will also be required to coordinate with internal medical and operations teams as well as with backend teams to ensure smooth transfer of data to the TPA/Insurance company.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with hospital insurance patients
• Collect necessary documents from patients/hospitals and coordinate with internal teams for initial approval
• Crosscheck files before sharing with the approval team
• Educate patients about insurance deductions and create awareness about reimbursement claims
• Collect claim support documents and coordinate with backend teams for smooth data transfer
• Handle grievances or issues raised by hospital staff and patients
• Followup and provide updates to clients

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma Graduation/Under Graduation
• Good listening and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working in hospitals or insurance (6 months to 2 years) is an added advantage
• Strong verbal and problemsolving skills
• Enthusiasm for new tasks and challenges
• Relationshipbuilding skills
• Ability to multitask prioritize work with a strong ethic and attention to detail and operate with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
