You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAccountabilities • Collaborate with finance to prepare annual budget for crew. Taking into account any productivity improvements which need to be included in the budget. • Accountable for the delivery of the long term strategic plan as it relates to crew resourcing. • Contribute to and drive strategic initiatives for Crew Resources department, including proposing business cases, and proposed changes to policies to ensure a balance between cost, productivity, operational coverage and crew engagement. • Liaise with regulatory affairs and senior management to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company standards. • Exercise influence with stakeholders to identify, and assist with implementation of initiatives related to crew productivity. • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to establish and drive projects that reduce cost, improve productivity & enhance existing systems and processes, or to meet changes in business strategy. • Contribute towards the product roadmaps for all systems within Crew Resources department. • Work alongside corporate planning team to influence the long term schedule plan based on crew utilization • Direct development of key performance measures to provide input and guidance to improve allocation and utilization of Crew resources. • Communicate impact of changes to policies and procedures, providing recommendations, alternatives approaches and mitigating strategies. • Responsible for production of executive briefing material and supporting documents for communication to senior management. • Ensures issues and risks relating to resource plans are communicated and shared with senior management • Track department performance against budget. • Develop and present agreed operational dashboards as it relates to roster production – ensure the crew tracking area is aware of challenges in published rosters. • Contribute towards the establishment of the Crew Resources strategic plan. • Monitor and present on productivity dashboards to relevant stakeholders (crew cost, crew per blk hour, blk hours). • Identify areas of improvement within the crew resources team with the aim of improving the level of automation. • Use technology to its fullest and ensure adoption across the division. This includes the identification of any new technology in line with market trends, which may enable strategic outcomes. • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. Qualifications • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent • 10 years of job related experience • Previous airline experience. • Previous experience in workforce management / establishment planning / manpower planning. • Previous experience in pairing optimization. • Previous experience in strategic planning
