Ocean Import Documentation

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify import documents (invoices bills of lading certificates of origin).
• Liaise with customs for timely clearance of goods.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines for transportation.
• Communicate with clients about shipment status and handle queries.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Maintain accurate transaction records for audits and reporting.
• Support project mobilization and demobilization documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams for seamless logistics.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in import documentation or a related field.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in documentation management systems and office software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with customs procedures and freight forwarding preferred.
