Job Description

Filinvest Hotel: Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Manila

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Audit and Verification:

  • Supervise and perform daily revenue audits for all hotel operations including rooms food and beverage and other departments.
  • Verify all financial transactions ensuring they are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile revenue figures between different sources such as point of sale systems night audit reports and accounting records.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure all income audit activities comply with hotel policies accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute daily weekly and monthly income reports to management.
  • Identify and investigate any discrepancies or variances in revenue reports and resolve them promptly.

Team Supervision and Development:

  • Lead and supervise the income audit team providing guidance training and support to ensure high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment encouraging professional growth and development.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously review and improve income audit processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and recommend system enhancements to streamline income audit functions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any issues affecting revenue reporting and ensure seamless operations.

Financial Analysis and Support:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in preparing financial analysis and reports for management.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits ensuring all required documentation is available and accurate.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities providing insights on revenue trends and potential risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 35 years of experience in income auditing or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hotel revenue management systems.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Amenable to work in Muntinlupa City.
