Backend Developer

Job Description:

As a Backend Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the serverside logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. You will collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to design and implement new features troubleshoot and resolve issues and optimize our systems for maximum efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain serverside logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
• Design and implement data storage solutions and databases.
• Write reusable testable and efficient code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of backend development projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proven 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in serverside languages such as Python Java Ruby Node.js or others relevant to the role.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of software development principles design patterns and best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Developer Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer) are a plus.
