Carpenter Skilled Labourer

Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry tasks such as framing formwork finishing and installing fixtures.
• Assist with general labour duties including site cleanup material handling and assisting tradespeople.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow blueprints drawings and instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding progress challenges and adjustments.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in carpentry and/or general construction work is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques tools and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to commute to job sites in Deer Lake NL.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or formal training in carpentry or a related field is advantageous.
• Experience with residential or commercial construction projects.
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
