Job Description

Job Title: Secretary

Location: New Orleans LA

Job Type: FullTime

Job Summary: The Secretary will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The ideal candidate will be resourceful a good problem solver and organized ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls take messages and respond to inquiries.
  • Manage and organize the daily schedule of executives and managers including arranging meetings and appointments.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Greet and assist visitors ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings including arranging travel and accommodation for attendees.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory placing orders as necessary.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word in particular).
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
