Impact:
As our Legal Assistant to our Managing Partner/Chief Compliance Officer and our General Counsel you will have the opportunity to perform executive and litigationrelated secretarial work to support legal professionals in our operations teams.
Compensation Range Based on Experience:
$70000 $90000
Daily Tasks:
Coordinate meetings appointments and other functions
Proofread and finalize internal policies and external letters
Provide litigation assistance with fee arbitrations interpleaders and other documents
Prepare shells for pleadings and assist with discovery responses
Prepare documents for filing pull dockets and compile complaints.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and assist our compliance team in determining and prioritizing business strategies
Manage milestone completion dates to ensure internal project deadlines are met
Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Your Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience as a legal assistant/legal secretary Employment law or related civil litigation
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to create effective relationships influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels
Experience filing documents
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working for CSuite or a General Counsel is a plus
Type at least 40 WPM
