The Role

We are looking for an inspiring Biology Teacher who can deliver highquality lessons that engage and motivate students. The successful candidate will be passionate about Biology and design and committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage and support students.
• Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Biology or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for Biology and a commitment to student success.

Desirable:

• Experience in organising and leading extracurricular Biology activities.
• Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
