Senior Engineering Director

Location: Remote from USA or Canada

We are looking for an innovative Senior Engineering Director to join our development department. The ideal candidate is an experienced knowledgeable and pragmatic leader who will help us build a worldclass Unity development workforce.
In this role youll have the opportunity to rebuild refocus and lead our frontend engineers. Youll collaborate with the other engineering leaders to rebuild the engineering department and provide mentorship guidance and support to all of our engineers.
Our ideal candidate understands the business of the Casual Mobile Games market and has experience leading teams focused on Unity3d Development for Mobile Games.

About the role

• Guiding architectural decisions of direct reports and departments

• Ownership of FrontEnd Engineering Development

• Managing the frontend engineering team being an expert at Engineering Values and KPIs

• Serve as a hiring Manager for the Frontend Engineering Team

• Mentoring frontend engineers and other engineers as needed

• Collaborate with the VP of Engineering and Director of Internal Tools and Backend to develop and maintain our Portfolio of Products

• Translating business goals into actionable technical tasks and tools

Who you are

• Knowledgeable in Emerging Technologies and their potential value to our Tech Stack

• 5 years experience mobile gaming

• 6 years of experience in a fast paced production environments

• 3 years of experience in Unity3D and C#

• 3 years experience Experience managing engineers

• Experience in Software Development Best Practices such as continuous integration unit testing distributed systems clientserver architecture CRM Tools LiveOps etc.

• Strong Engineering Background. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred

• Experience Leading and scaling Engineering Teams

• Excellent and adaptable communication and interpersonal skills
  
  

Compensatation

• $167940.00 $223920.00 for candidates in NY CA and WA. Salary is commensurate with experience. The salary range for applicants outside of NY CA and WA is commensurate with experience and location
