Job Description

We are a leading Recruitment Company based in Colombo Sri Lanka and we are in search for a Head of Sales to join our clients team.

Role
The objective is to achieve the target units set by Management Plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities as to maintain and develop sales of products in accordance with agreed business plans to maximize profits of the company and market share.

Responsibilities
  • Head of Sales (HOS) should provide leadership over the sales department.
  • To develop daily/weekly/seasonal targets accordingly to the market situation/condition Examining growth opportunities enabling sales improvements.
  • To plan product mix development
  • To take responsibility to achieve the department's units turnover & market share targets.
  • Identify the priorities of the department and take the most suitable decisions without having losses to the company and customer.
  • Plan & launch most appropriate promotional activities according to the demand in each areas to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Report identified issues related to products to supervisor without delay.
  • Ensure all objectives/tasks/Action plans to complete on given deadlines.
  • Identify the areas which needs to be developed in the team and forward them for necessary trainings if required.
  • Complete concentration on inventory and plan retails on First In First Out basis (FIFO).
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed on all decisions which could impact to departmen's revenue and company's image before implement.
  • Maintain good relationship with all types of stakeholders of the company.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 passes in GCE A/L & Full or part qualification in CIM or equivalent.

  • Minimum 56 years experience in a similar field.
