Role: Sr. Java Lead/ Architect Location: Remote Duration: 3 months contract to hire Job Description: Our Engineer II is a key member of the engineering staff working across Business Services Engineering Data Engineering Platform Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering to ensure that we provide a fictionless experience to our customers maintain the highest standards of protection and availability. Our team thrives and succeeds in delivering highquality technology products and services in a hypergrowth environment where priorities shift quickly. The ideal candidate has the broad and deep technical knowledge typically ranging from frontend UIs through backend systems and all points in between. Daily Responsibilities

• Scope design and build scalable resilient distributed systems.
• Engage in crossfunctional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle.

• Participate in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
• Utilize programming languages like Java .NET Python SQL and NoSQL databases Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes and a variety of Azure tools and services.
• Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
• Build product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution.

Required Skills/Experience

• 2 years of noninternship professional software development experience
• 2 years of experience with architecture and design
• 2 years of experience with AWS GCP Azure or another cloud service
• 2 years of experience in open source frameworks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to a fastpaced work environment

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Experience with Spring Boot and other Spring projects such as Spring Data Spring Integration Spring MVC Spring Cloud etc.
• Experience with TDD/ATDD/ BDD
• Experience with containers and container orchestration such as Docker Kubernetes etc.
• Experience with event driven architectures and building event driven microservices with pubsub/streaming technologies such as Kafka
• Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
• Indepth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent education or work experience
