Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Implementation Partner: Blue.cloud

Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in managing multistakeholder projects within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a PMP certification proficiency in the waterfall methodology and a thorough understanding of Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to closure ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and scope.
  • Stakeholder Management: Handle strategic stakeholders including senior management and business stakeholders.
  • Methodologies: Apply waterfall methodology and ensure compliance with PMLC and SDLC documentation.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain project management reports and project health metrics.
  • Governance and Escalations: Implement governance frameworks and handle escalations.
  • Project Management Tools: Use tools such as Smartsheet Microsoft Project (MPP) and RAID logs.
  • Communication: Communicate project status risks and issues effectively.
Required Qualifications:
  • Certification: PMP certification.
  • Experience:
    • Managing multistakeholder projects in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance (Not Life or Health).
    • Using waterfall methodology.
    • Understanding of PMLC and SDLC.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management reporting project health metrics and tools like Smartsheet MPP and RAID logs.
  • Governance: Experience in managing project governance and escalations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and communicate with strategic stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
