Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Head of Corporate Fundraising to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-connected in the corporate sector and possesses strong relationships with key decision-makers. The primary responsibility will be to maintain and acquire new corporate donors, ensuring sustained and increased support for our organization's initiatives.

The Head of Corporate Fundraising is responsible for raising funds and in-kind donations to ensure the present and future operations of the SOS Children's Villages Association. He/ She pursues opportunities with & fundraise from the corporate entities of the country to fund the relevant programs, investments.

In addition to securing ongoing support from existing corporate donors, He/ She actively pursues and acquires new partnerships to broaden the organization's donor base and enhance its resource mobilization efforts. This role involves strategic engagement with corporate entities across the country to fund relevant programs and investments essential for the welfare of children and families supported by SOS.

In the Communications part, he/she will support the Communications Department whenever needed to ensure the maintenance of a positive external image of the organization, and ensure that messages to the media and the public reflect the image required by the organization; this includes support in branded content writing, social media content, press releases, e-newsletters and managing activities that raise awareness about the work of the Association, mainly corporate-related.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in corporate fundraising, donor relations, or a related field.
  • Well-connected in the corporate sector with established relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to conduct outdoor visits and attend meetings with donors.
  • Must have a car and be able to travel as needed.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using donor management software and MS Office Suite.
