Mid Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Determining the structure and design of web pages.
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation
• Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs
• Collaborate with back-end developers and UI/UX to improve usability
  
  

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• 2+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer
• 1+ year of Practical Experience in REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme Redux, and Flux
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery
• Good knowledge of interacting with Restful API's
• Good knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
• Familiarity with InVision
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Knowledge of gitflow / source control best practices
• Familiarity with web performance best practices
• Knowledge of the principles & patterns of Agile software development
