Job Description
Our Client is a leading Manufacturer and Supplier of House Wiring Cables Aluminium Conductors (AAC) Copper Conductors Cables Low Voltage Power Cables and Solar cables based in Southeast Nigeria. They are seeking to hire a Legal Counsel to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactive legal guidance
Mitigating legal risks.
Contract management
Collaboration and communication
External counsel management
Corporate governance
Intellectual property protection
Investigation and due diligence
Communication and reporting.
Research and analysis
The Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and provide wellfounded legal advice.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for details.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor legal information for diverse audiences.
Proactive. Resourceful and highly organized with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
We expect that the prospective candidates should possess:
LLB and BL degree and a valid license to practice Law in Nigeria (required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an InHouse Counsel or in a relevant role.
Strong understanding of corporate law contracts commercial law and relevant industry regulations.
