Job Description

Scrum Master Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master (35 years) who excels in Agile methodologies particularly in the frameworks of Scrum and Kanban. The ideal candidate will be adept at implementing these frameworks within our organization tailored to meet the specific needs of each project. This role is pivotal in facilitating Scrum ceremonies maintaining project transparency and ensuring seamless communication between technical teams and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


Agile Expertise:


Profound understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks especially Scrum and Kanban.

Implement Scrum and Kanban frameworks effectively depending on project requirements.


Scrum Facilitation:


Facilitate Scrum ceremonies punctually ensuring adherence to Agile principles.

Maintain transparency across all projects fostering an environment of openness and trust.

Ensure Scrum artifacts are up to date and visible to stakeholders.


Servant Leadership:


Act as a servant leader removing impediments and enabling the team to achieve their highest potential.

Provide guidance and support ensuring the team remains focused and motivated.

Mentor and coach team members on Agile practices and principles.


Project Kickoff and Management:


Initiate projects with minimal guidance ensuring all necessary preparations are in place.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and ensure alignment with goals.

Monitor project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques.


Jira Proficiency:


Possess working knowledge of Jira for project tracking and management.

Customize and optimize Jira workflows and dashboards for efficient project tracking.


Stakeholder Communication:


Serve as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders ensuring clear and consistent communication.

Present project demos to existing and prospective clients as well as stakeholders.

Facilitate regular updates and reviews with stakeholders to align on project goals and progress.


Delivery Management:


Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget constraints.

Utilize resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks.


Conflict Management:


Address and resolve conflicts within the team promoting a harmonious working environment.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and constructive feedback.


Continuous Improvement:


Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Conduct retrospectives and implement actionable improvements based on feedback.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance team performance.


Documentation:


Maintain updated and comprehensive documentation for all projects.

Ensure documentation is accessible and understandable to all team members and stakeholders.


Team Empowerment:


Empower the team to selforganize and make decisions.

Encourage collaboration and ownership among team members.

Recognize and celebrate team achievements.


Training and Development:


Conduct training sessions on Agile practices and tools.

Support the professional development of team members through coaching and mentoring.


Metrics and Reporting:


Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project progress and team performance.

Use data to drive decisionmaking and improve processes.


Qualifications:


Proven experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks.

Excellent facilitation and communication skills.

Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive attitude.

Proficiency in Jira and other project management tools.

Certification in Scrum (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster Professional Scrum Master) is a plus.
