Senior Project Engineer

Position Summary:

Our esteemed client is a leading mechanical Construction firm based in Qatar specializing in Oil and Gas Petrochemicals and Utilities Industries solutions for the Oil & Gas Sectors. Our client is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with at least 10 years of experience and abilities in the relevant field including the EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) and EPIC (Engineering Procurement Installation and Commissioning) sectors with proficiency in CAD software along with the Professional Engineering license or certification which is highly preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical aspects of engineering procurement installation and commissioning processes.
  

• Provide expert guidance on project design development and execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  

• Direct daily onsite operations manage project teams and ensure the successful achievement of project milestones goals and quality standards.
  

• Develop and manage bid proposals for new EPC and EPIC projects including defining the project scope preparing detailed cost estimates and performing risk assessments.
  

• Create comprehensive project proposals and presentations for clients which include technical documentation cost breakdowns project timelines and strategic approaches.
  

• Establish and enforce quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to project specifications safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  

• Utilize expertise in piping design and installation to ensure the successful execution of piping systems for Oil & Gas projects.
  

• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients including updates on project status financials risks and mitigation strategies.
  

• Allocate and manage resources effectively including labor materials and equipment to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  

• Establish and enforce quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to project specifications safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field.
  

• Minimum of 10 15 in project engineering within the EPC and EPIC sectors with a strong focus on mechanical and piping systems.
  

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA etc.)
  

• A professional Engineering license or equivalent certification is highly desirable. Additional certifications in EPC or EPIC project management are a plus.
